Gameable Privacy Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
Gameable.com and the Gameable platform are operated by AvatarOS Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Gameable," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, participate in the private alpha, create or interact with characters and games, or contact us. AvatarOS Inc. is responsible for this processing and is the data controller where that term applies. Contact us at contact@gameable.com.
This policy explains data practices; it does not replace the Private Alpha Agreement or lift its sharing embargo. Gameable is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
1 Information we collect
Account information. We collect information you provide to create and manage an account, such as your name, email address, login information, profile details and preferences. We also maintain your account status, credit balance and usage history.
Uploads and creations. We process photos, images, videos, voice recordings, text, prompts and other material you submit, together with generated characters, voices, games, scenes and other outputs. This can include information about you or another person depicted or mentioned in the material, and technical representations derived from it to produce your requested creation.
Conversations and interactions. We process messages, microphone audio you choose to submit, transcripts, character responses and related interaction history. These may be saved in your account. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the feature you are using.
Technical information. When you use Gameable, our systems and infrastructure providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device information, session identifiers, request timestamps, usage events, error reports and security logs. We use this information to operate, diagnose and protect the service.
Support and integrations. We collect messages, feedback and files you send us, including in our private alpha community. If you connect an external account or provide an API key, we process the connection credentials, identifiers, permissions and data necessary for the integration you select. We receive information from you, your device, connected services and providers acting for us.
2 How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts; manage credits and access; process uploads; generate, save and deliver your creations; enable conversations and integrations; and respond to support requests. We also use technical diagnostics and feedback to find errors, assess performance and improve the service.
We use information where necessary to prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our agreements, protect people and systems, comply with law and establish or defend legal claims. We may send account, security, support and service notices. Optional promotional messages, if offered, will include an unsubscribe option and require consent where applicable. Unsubscribing does not prevent necessary account or security messages.
Product news. If you press "Keep me posted," we use your email address, and your account if you are signed in, to send you news of plugin and product releases. You can sign up without an account. Pressing the button is your consent; you can stop at any time with "Stop updates" or the link in each email.
3 Photos, voices and AI processing
Creating a character or voice can require automated analysis and transformation of images, facial features, audio and voice characteristics. We and our providers use the relevant inputs and derived representations to perform the generation or interaction you request. A voice feature may involve creating a voice model specifically for your requested use; that is different from training a general-purpose model for other users.
We use AI services for functions such as language processing, speech recognition and generation, and image, video or other content generation. The providers and models may change. Depending on the feature, relevant uploads, prompts, conversation context and outputs are transmitted to these services. Changing models does not remove our obligation to explain materially different data uses or obtain consent when required.
We do not use your private uploads, conversations or creations to train general-purpose AI models. Providers acting for us process your content to deliver the feature you requested, under their own terms; we do not grant them permission to use it for general training, though we cannot guarantee another company's practices beyond our agreements with it. We may use feedback and technical diagnostics to improve Gameable. This does not give us permission to repurpose private photos, voices or conversations as general training data.
Where the processing constitutes regulated biometric or other sensitive-data processing, we provide the required information in this policy and obtain the required consent before that processing through your acceptance of the Private Alpha Agreement (or the terms you accept at sign-up), which states what is analysed, for what purpose and for how long it is kept. Derived face and voice representations are kept for as long as the creations that need them exist in your account, or until you delete them or your account. Only submit another person's photo, voice or likeness if you have the necessary rights and permissions. If someone has uploaded your information without permission, contact us.
4 Human review and visibility
If you report a problem and provide or identify relevant content, authorized team members may review what is reasonably needed to investigate, reproduce and fix it. We may also access information when necessary for security, abuse prevention or legal compliance. Access should be limited to personnel who need it for these purposes.
Content saved in your account is not made public merely because you participate in the alpha. If an authorized sharing or collaboration feature is enabled and you choose to use it, the people you share with can access the selected material. Material you post to the private alpha community is visible to the members of that channel. The alpha embargo continues to apply. We seek separate permission before using your private content in public marketing.
5 Who receives information
Providers supporting Gameable may receive information needed to deliver their services. These include account and database infrastructure, cloud storage and hosting, GPU and other computing services, AI generation and speech services, security and diagnostics, and support and communication services. We require providers processing information on our behalf to protect it and limit their use under applicable contracts and law.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers under appropriate confidentiality obligations; to authorities or others when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety or security; and in connection with an actual or proposed financing, merger, acquisition or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information to others at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently use advertising pixels. Contact us for information about the providers relevant to your use of Gameable.
6 Your own third-party accounts
If you choose to connect your own account with a voice, AI or other external service, that service may separately control information in your account under its own terms, privacy policy, training settings and retention rules. Disconnecting it from Gameable does not necessarily delete the external account, its history or its voice models.
We remain responsible for information we handle and for providers processing information on our behalf. For information independently held in your own external account, you may need to use that provider's settings or contact it directly. We will help identify the relevant service when reasonably possible. Community services you choose to use, such as Discord, also process information under their own privacy policies.
7 Storage, retention and deletion
We retain account information and saved uploads, conversations and creations while needed to provide your account and requested features, unless you delete them or request deletion. Keeping a saved character or conversation available can require retaining its associated information. Technical logs and support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for their operational, security, support or legal purposes. The relevant criteria include whether the account or feature remains in use, whether an issue is unresolved and whether a legal retention obligation applies.
We keep a news sign-up while you stay subscribed. If you stop, we keep only the record that you stopped, so that we do not email you again; you can ask us to delete it at contact@gameable.com.
You can request account deletion in the product or at contact@gameable.com. We will delete your account and associated personal information and content from our systems within 31 days of receiving your request, subject to reasonable identity verification. We will delete provider-hosted copies that we control and direct providers acting on our behalf to delete relevant information as required by applicable law and our agreements.
We may retain limited information where legally required or permitted and necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal claims, for no longer than needed for that purpose. A shorter legal deadline takes priority. Independently controlled third-party accounts are addressed in Section 6. We cannot promise deletion of copies independently made by people with whom you chose to share content; we will take any steps applicable law requires.
8 Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage or similar technologies as needed to keep you signed in, maintain sessions and protect the service. Some requested features may not work if you block necessary storage in your browser.
Where we use optional analytics or other nonessential device storage or access, we provide information about its purposes and obtain consent where required before activating it. You can withdraw that consent through the available privacy controls. We do not treat a browser's legacy Do Not Track signal as a separate account setting. Where an applicable law requires recognition of a browser opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we honor it.
9 International users and legal bases
Gameable is operated from the United States. Your information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, whose laws may differ from those where you live. Where international transfer restrictions apply, we use a legally valid transfer mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable UK transfer provisions. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or similar laws require a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you for account administration, requested generation, storage and support; legitimate interests for proportionate security, abuse prevention, technical diagnostics and service improvement, balanced against your rights; legal obligations for required compliance; and consent where required for optional tracking, particular sensitive-data processing or other optional uses. If you withdraw consent, earlier lawful processing remains lawful, and the feature that depends on that consent may no longer be available.
Information needed to open your account or deliver a requested feature is necessary to provide that service. You may decline to provide it, but the affected feature may not work. The purpose of our AI processing is to generate content and interactions, not to make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
10 Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information; correct it; delete it; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising; and limit certain uses of sensitive information. These rights may have legal exceptions.
Use the account controls or email contact@gameable.com to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity or an authorized agent's authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, explain any denial or permitted extension and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You do not need to create an account to contact us.
Where applicable law provides an appeal, reply to our decision or email contact@gameable.com with the subject "Privacy appeal." You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including the authority where you live or work in the EEA or the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contacting us first is welcome but is not required to exercise that right.
11 Security and age limits
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account credentials private and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Gameable is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow people under 18 to register. If you believe a minor has provided personal information through an account, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
12 Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Gameable evolves. We will change the date above and notify you of material changes through the service or another appropriate channel. Before using information for a materially different purpose, we will give any required notice and obtain any required consent. Continued use does not substitute for legally required consent.
